In this body of work I am creating an imaginary space using collage work and painting in which the main theme is the ironic displacement between the individual and its environment. I am using collage to create an unusual relationship between the figure(s) and their new surroundings. These collaged people have different responses to their new, desolate environment. Some continue with their everyday activity and some are interacting with awe; an expedition into an unknown space.
